Accepted Workshops

We have an exciting programme of Workshops accepted for PDC 2022. Below is a list of accepted Workshops, which will be updated as each Workshop publishes their website and call for participation.

We have three categories of Workshops for PDC 2022:

1) Workshops that are online only, and will run during the online component of the conference.

2) Workshops that are hybrid, running at the in-person in Newcastle upon Tyne on 30th August 2022, and providing online participation for remote attendees

3) Workshops associated with one of the conferences PDC Places, which will be held at that Place as part of their own programme.

How to attend a workshop:

Most PDC 2022 workshops have a requirement to submit a position paper or make an application in order to be accepted to the workshop. Please check each individual Workshop’s website and call for participation for submission requirements and deadlines, as these will differ for each workshop. Links to each workshop can be found below.

How to pay to register for a workshop:

In order to attend a workshop, you need to first be accepted to it and then you need to register (i.e., pay) for your attendence. How you do this differs depending on what category of workshop you are wanting to attend.

Online-only workshops require registration via the PDC 2022 conference registration system. If you register for the online conference, you recieve online workshop registration automatically – you just need to tell us what workshop you are attending when submitting the registration form. If you wish to only register for the workshop, and not the whole conference, you can register for a One Day pass.

Hybrid workshops in Newcastle upon Tyne also require registration via the PDC 2022 conference registration system. If you register for the in-person event in Newcastle upon Tyne, you recieve in-person workshop registration automatically – as with online workshops you just need to tell us what workshop you are attending when submitting the registration form. If you wish to only register for the workshop, and not the whole conference, you can still register for a One Day pass.

PDC Place workshops require attendees to register via that specific PDC Place’s registration system. This is because each Place manages their own budget and physical spaces and resources for their events. Please look through each workshop links below, and the relevant PDC Place webpage, for information.
